Are older condos in Surfside safe to buy?
Age alone isn't the verdict — documentation is. The oldest tracked Surfside stock dates to 1965, and what matters is whether the milestone inspection is done, the SIRS is funded, and repairs are addressed. An older Surfside building with clean paperwork can be a better buy than a newer one with none.
